Hi! I'm Tamara, wife to Ralf and Mumma to two toddlers, who drive me absolutely crazy most days, but are also my entire world and the reason I do what I do. Oh, and the sole reason of my coffee addiction & need for a glass of wine most nights. We have also recently welcomed our third and final baby, who is really teaching me to slow down and take it all in. To make sure I enjoy all the little things, and capture them to remember too!
As a little girl the highlight of every family holiday was my little disposable film camera. I got so excited when I could bring it to the shop to get developed. From there I moved onto digital cameras as I got older, an underwater camera when I moved to the Caribbean and my first DSLR when my husband and I decided to fly across the world to travel. My love for photography has been there for as long as I can remember, but Demi & Mason, those crazy toddlers mentioned above, really sparked my love for family photography! Since Demi was born I have been wanting to capture every little detail, every moment, anything that I might forget one day. But just like most mums, my camera roll is full of photos of the kids, but non with me in it! (And I am embarrassed to say the camera roll on my phone consists of over 30,000 photos lol). As mums we are always behind the camera, never in the photos and I want to change that!
I love that a photo can show so much emotion, love & personality and allows us to hold onto some beautiful memories for ever.
